At the beginning of a new year, everyone is usually excited and makes plans on things they hope to accomplish. But most of the time, many persons who make resolutions do not put in the work to make their dreams come to life. Others, on the other hand, make goals that would have a very little impact on their health, family and their business.

Everyone wants to remain healthy and fit. Being healthy can determine to a large extent if we can achieve other goals we have set for our self.  In this article, we are going to take a look at some resolutions that if you work hard to follow, will revitalize your body and soul.

Keep in mind that you are in the driver’s seat in your life and you can achieve anything you want to, you just have to be willing to work for it.

Drink more water

The first resolution you can make that will keep you healthy is to drink a lot of water. Water might not be your favorite drink but it sure does a lot for the body. For starters, it keeps you hydrated and can also make you lose weight. Normally, it is ideal that you take eight glass of water daily. Of course, taking lots of water daily might look like a challenge at first but in the long run, you will get used to it and will benefit a lot from it.

Eat more greens

During the holidays, a lot of people binge on unhealthy food. Others who have a diet program they follow stray from it. Well, its time to make a resolution to go back to eating healthy. When you consume a lot of greens your skin will become fresher and you will be able to perform better physically and mentally. The best way to make greens a constant part of your diet is to start small. Slowly add more greens to your diet and you get used to it.

 

 

Meditate more

Meditation is one of the most effective tools to stay healthy. You see, eating well and working out will make you fit physically. Meditation will make you fit mentally, it will help you better manage anxieties and stress.  What you should do therefore is to resolve to set aside five to ten minutes daily to meditate.

Stay away from negativity

The next resolve you want to make is that of being careful with whom you associate with. Your associate, to a large extent, determine the choices you make in life. If there is anyone in your life right now that is not impacting positively, now is the time to pull the plug on your relationship.

Also, you have to remove negativity from your mind. Be conscious and don’t allow negative thoughts and emotions dwell in your mind.

Working towards the resolution highlighted in this article will improve your health physically and mentally and ultimately revitalize your life.
